Q: How are winners contacted?
A: By email within 10 business days after the event. Respond within 2 days, or the prize may go to an alternate winner.

Q: How do I register?
A: Go to the hub, follow the links, and complete the registration form: https://battlefy.com/nintendovs/mario-tennis-fever
Q: Who can play?
A: Legal residents of the US (incl. D.C.) or Canada, age 13+, or Mexico, age 18+. You'll need:
A Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Tennis Fever
A Nintendo Account and any Nintendo Switch Online membership (trials count)
A reliable high-speed internet connection
Q: I'm under 18. Anything extra?
A: Yes. Your parent or legal guardian must complete your registration.
Q: I registered, but I can't see the tournament or my match.
A: Make sure you're logged in with the same login method you registered with (email, Google, etc.). A different method may sign you into a separate Battlefy account.
🕹️ HOW TO PLAY
Q: What's the format?
A: 1v1, Best-of-3. The Bracket Round is Single Elimination until four players remain. Then the Top 4 play a Double Elimination bracket.
Q: How do I check in?
A: There are two check-ins, both on the game-day tournament page (linked at the top):
1️⃣ Tournament check-in: check in on the tournament page within 60 minutes of the tournament start time.
2️⃣ Match check-in: open your match from the bracket and press I'm Ready within 10 minutes of being assigned an opponent, or you may receive a match loss
Q: How do I set up my match?
A: The player on the left side of the match page hosts. The host creates a Tennis Match under Online Room → Create Room and shares the Room ID in Match Chat.
Q: What settings do we use?
Characters: All allowed · Fever Rackets: All allowed
Match Type: Singles · Fever Rackets: One
Match Length: Extended Play · Sets: 1 · Games: 2
Tiebreaker: Yes · Public: No
Court: Stadium Court (Grass) · Ball Type: Standard Ball
Q: Can I change characters between games?
A: Yes. The host selects Change Character from the post-game menu, and both players can change their character and Fever Racket.
Q: Who reports the score?
A: The winner, using Report Score on the match page. Both players should capture the victory screen after every game with the Capture button.
🚨 GETTING HELP
Q: Something's wrong with my match. What do I do?
A: Press Report Match Issue on your match page, and an Admin will join you in Private Chat. Report delays too: if a match isn't finished 20 minutes after the round opens and no one has contacted support, both players may be disqualified.
Q: What if someone disconnects?
A: Disconnecting after 1 minute of play or 3 points scored means a match forfeit. If there's a dispute, the player who disconnected must provide video proof using the Capture feature.
Q: Do I need to be in Discord?
A: Yes. All players must be in #support-chat during the Bracket Round.
