How to Register Your Team for a VCT Americas Open Qualifier

Step-by-step registration for VCT Americas 2027 Open Qualifiers: Riot account linking, team creation, roster requirements and deadlines.

Before you register

  • Every player needs a Battlefy account with their Riot account linked. Your region and rank are checked against the linked account.

  • Rosters are 5 players, plus optional substitutes and a coach.

  • Every player and coach must meet the age requirement and the minimum rank for your circuit.

  • A player or coach can only be on one active team across all four circuits (North America, Brazil, LATAM North, LATAM South).

Registration steps

  1. Open your circuit's Open Qualifier page on Battlefy.

  2. Click Join Tournament and sign in.

  3. Create your team or select an existing one, then set your event lineup.

  4. Confirm every player has linked their Riot account and passes the eligibility check.

  5. Submit. Your team's status will show as Registered.

Deadlines

  • Registration opens at least 14 days before each Open Qualifier.

  • Registration closes 48 hours before Friday play begins.

  • Check-in runs from 90 to 30 minutes before Friday's first round. Teams that do not check in are replaced from the waitlist.

If your team has already qualified from an Open Qualifier in the current window, you cannot enter the remaining Open Qualifiers in that window.
