Who can play

  • Age: every player and coach must meet the minimum age in the Rules of the Game for their region. Age eligibility is verified during registration.

  • Riot account: every player links their own Riot account. Playing on someone else's account, or letting someone play on yours, is account sharing and leads to removal.

  • Region: your linked account must belong to the circuit you register in (North America, Brazil, LATAM North or LATAM South).

  • Rank: your account must meet the minimum rank Riot sets for Open Qualifier entry. The requirement is checked against your linked account when you register.

If your rank drops after you register

Rank is checked at registration. If you are demoted below the requirement after registering for an Open Qualifier, your entry for that event stands. You must meet the requirement again when you register for the next one. If you believe your rank was checked incorrectly, open a support conversation and an admin will review it with you.

Roster rules

  • Rosters are validated before every Open Qualifier under Riot's Roster Construction Rules.

  • A player or coach can be on only one active team across all four circuits.

  • Teams that qualify from an Open Qualifier window cannot enter the remaining Open Qualifiers in that window.
