This is a player guide to help you prepare for and participate in the
eEURO Phase 1 and 2 Events. Please consult the official tournament page for the official rules.

Eligibility
You must own EA Sports FC 24 on PlayStation 5 and have an active PS Plus membership
You must be 18 years or older
You must be a passport holder from an eligible country
You must be physically located in an eligible country
Phase 1 - Player Selection Tournament
National Associations have the opportunity to host player selection tournaments in order for players to represent their nation in EA SPORTS FC 24.
At the end of Phase 1, each National Association will have one representative player, that will move on to Phase 2.
Registration
Participants will be able to register for the Phase 1 events from December 8th to January 13th. In order to find your tournament, access the UEFA EURO 2024™ Portal and register by clicking the Join Now button:

Format and Gameplay Settings
The First Phase of the Competition will have Players from each member nation competing for the chance to represent the National Team in Phases 2 and 3 of the eEURO Competition. The Player Selection Tournament will be run in the following format:
Game: EA SPORTS FC 24
Mode: Kick-off mode (equal-rated squads)
Match Settings
Game Type: Online Friendlies
Half Length: 6 Minutes
Controls: Any
Game Speed: Normal
Squad Type: 95 Overall
Team Restriction: All matches must be played using the National Team or the European XI Team
Any other unlisted settings must not be changed and must be kept at their default
Day 1 Bracket - Qualifiers (Jan 13)
Nations that have more than 64 players will play a ladder with Best of 1 Matches
Nations that have 64 players or less will play a single-elimination tournament, 2 Legs Matches
Top 16 moves to Day 2
Day 2 Bracket - Playoffs (Jan 20)
All nation brackets will be played as individual 16-player Double Elimination brackets, 2 Leg Matches, where the best player from each nation qualifies for Phase 2 of the Competition.
2 Leg Matches
For Leg 1, the player with the lower seed (higher number) should invite the other player
For Leg 2, the player with the highest seed (smaller number) should invite the other player and play their match.
In the case of a tie, a Golden Goal Match must be played, hosted by the player with the highest seed.
Leg 1 will end after stoppage time. Leg 2 will continue to extra time and penalties if necessary in case of a tie

Phase 2- Group Stage
In the Group Stage, each player representing a National Association will play against all other players within their group in a round-robin bracket. The top 7 players (1 per group) will move on to Stage 3.
Registration
Participants qualified from Phase 1 will be automatically registered for the Group Stage events a couple of days after qualifying. The events will be accessible from the Joined Tournaments option.

Format and Gameplay Settings
The Second Phase of the Competition will have 1 representative player from each member nation competing for a spot at the Live Finals. The Group Stage will be run across 2 days under the following format:
Game: EA SPORTS FC 24
Mode: Kick-off mode (equal-rated squads)
Group Stage (March 16 - 17)
1 representative player from each competing nation
7 Groups of Round Robin (Aggregate 2)
The best Player per Nation (Top1) from each Group moves to Live Finals
Germany, as the host nation, will receive a direct invitation to the Live Finals
