This is a player guide to help you prepare for and participate in the
Salute to Service Tournament Ladder events. Please consult the official tournament page for the official rules. You can find the Ladder bracket matchmaking period in your Region's Tournament Page.
Game Day
In this section, you’ll be guided through the tournament experience, where we’ll show you everything you need to know to play your tournament matches on Battlefy.
If you are using your mobile device to access Battlefy. You will find the sections shown on the following pages under the “Play” button at the bottom of the tournament page.
A) Navigate to the Tournament Page
The Tournament Page is where you should be for the duration of the tournament
Go to 'Joined Tournaments', on mobile this can be opened with the 3 bars in the top left corner.
Select ‘Go to Tournament’
B) Prepare for the Tournament
After arriving on the tournament page, verify your registration fields are correct.
All critical tournament information will be displayed on the tournament page, so make sure to stay on it for the duration of the tournament
Once the tournament starts, you should then press the “Search For Match” button to be paired with an opponent.
C) Begin Searching for an Opponent
After clicking "Search For Match" you will be brought to this page where the system will automatically start looking for an opponent.
D) Opponent Found, Accept Your Match
Once an opponent has been found, you will need to accept the match within 60 seconds or the match will automatically be canceled.
E) Both Players have Accepted the Match
If your match is similar to the image below, then you officially have a match. You may proceed with setting up your match according to the rules. The Match Chat should be used for setting up the match.
F) Settings and How to Play
SETTINGS FOR AMERICAS, EMEA, AND INDO-PACIFIC DIGITAL QUALIFIERS AND REGIONAL PLAYOFFS:
Game: Madden NFL 26
Cross-play enabled: Cross-play will be enabled by default when you start the game for the first time on PC, PS5™, or Xbox Series X|S. On Xbox Series X|S, cross-play settings are controlled through the system settings. On PS5 and PC, these settings are found in the in-game settings menu.
Platform: Xbox X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC
Team Size: 1
Game mode: Exhibition Mode
Quarter Length: 4 minutes
Play Clock: 25 seconds (default time clock setting)
Skill level: All Madden
Weather: Clear
Injuries: Off
Fatigue: On
Accelerated Clock: Off
Even Teams: Off
Players will play a Ladder Format
Host: Left side player on matchpage in Battlefy will oversee creating the lobby.
Modifying game files to manipulate server selection is prohibited.
HOW TO PLAY:
Players competing will need to add each other as friends in game before matches but can remove each other afterward.You can find opponent EA ID on the matchpage.
Left side player will create game lobby following game settings as listed in Official Rules.
Play your match, then report your score!
Reporting Scores
Now that you've beat your opponent and taken a screenshot of your victory screen, you will want to click the "Report Score" button on the Match page.
Click "Report Score Game 1". Here you can input the score of the game.
You can upload a screenshot of the final score by clicking the screenshot box.
If you have a problem with your match
If you have a problem with your match, select Report Match Issue on the Match Page to notify admins
Communicate with admins via the match chat on the Match Page
Admins will arrive shortly to resolve your issue, please wait in the match chat for them to arrive
