Players who want to leave a team need to follow a couple of steps before they can do so on their own. This guide walks through the process for both players and captains.
Reminder: Players can't leave while on an active lineup
If a player is currently part of an event's lineup, they will not be able to leave the team themselves. The team captain will need to remove them from that event's lineup first.
This applies to every event the player is currently placed in — if they're in the lineup for more than one upcoming event, the captain will need to remove them from each one.
Leaving the team
Once a player has been removed from all active and upcoming lineups, they can leave the team on their own:
1. Go to the team's page and open the Team Information tab.
2. Find your name in the members list and click Leave Team.
3. Confirm when prompted, and you'll be removed from the team.
If the Leave Team option isn't showing up, double check with your captain that you've been taken off every future event lineup you were part of.
