Your ALGS Username is managed on the EA ALGS Portal — not on Battlefy directly. Once you change it on EA's side, Battlefy will sync the new name to your team and lineups before the next event begins.
Steps
Go to https://algs.ea.com and log in with your EA account.
Click your name in the top-right corner.
Select ALGS Settings.
Update your ALGS Username field.
Click Save Changes.
When will Battlefy show the new name?
Battlefy syncs your updated ALGS Username automatically. The change will be visible on your Battlefy team and event lineups at some point before the next event begins. You do not need to take any action on Battlefy yourself.
Reminders
Use plain English characters only — no special characters.
Your ALGS Username is separate from your in-game name, your EA ID, and your Battlefy username. Updating one does not update the others.
If you've updated the username on EA and it still hasn't appeared on Battlefy after the next event has started, contact a Battlefy Admin via the chat icon in the lower-right of the ALGS site.
