Pretty easy and Straightforward, first you will need it to be enabled on your organization, To do that you will need to click on the intercom button in the corner of your screen while logged in to Battlefy. Then, give us your request and the URL of your organization.
βWarning: You need to request the featured to be enabled for your organization before creating the tournament.
Step #1
Create your brackets, head to your tournament page > Manage > brackets > Create a Ladder Bracket
Step #2
On the 2nd step, you will need to provide some information about your Ladder bracket:
1- Bracket Name (This is useful if you have multiple brackets in the same tournament).
2 - Start Date of the Ladder
3 - End Date of the Ladder
4 - The Start Time of the Ladder for each day
5 - How long will the Matchmaking be available each day (up to 8 hours)
In the example image at the bottom, the Bracket will allow players to access matchmaking from 10/06 to 17/06, specifically from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM of each day.
6 - Minimum matches to play before being ranked. (This is important to prevent players from reaching a high score with too small amount of matches, which could be attributed to luck)
7 - Defines many players with the best scores are shown separately in the rankings. (This is extra important if your Ladder stage qualifies players for a different bracket.
8 - How participants are ranked.
9 - Defines how many games they play against a given opponent for each matchup.
That's all regarding creation!
A few notes on Ladder Brackets
If you wish to see how players interact with Ladder Brackets, see the following Article
Ladder Brackets do not require tournament check-ins and players can register at any point during the duration of the Ladder Bracket (unless registration is manually disabled by the organizer)
The Ladder Dates, Times, and Score/Match settings cannot be changed after its creation. Make sure to set up your bracket correctly in advance!
Matchmaking
When participating in ladder tournaments, participants are paired against opponents based on their current Ranking in the Ladder.
If there's an opponent immediately near your ranking (within a certain threshold), players will be immediately paired.
If there's no opponent near your ranking (within a certain threshold), the treshsold will be expanded as the queue timer goes up, allowing players to match someone further from their ranking.
Removing Players from Matchmaking
Should the need arise, Tournament Staff can Ban Players from Matchmaking, effectively disabling their ability to search for matches.
This can be done by accessing the Admin Panel of your tournament, and within the Participants section, tick the Ban Slider for the relevant Participant

β
All matches played will still count. The standing of your tournament will not be affected by Bans.
