Swiss Brackets balance time length of tournaments, excitement of matches and number of matches a player or team gets to play.
In a Swiss bracket the tournament organizer decides how many rounds are to be played. In each round a player or team will play a match and gain a point if they win or lose a point if they lose the match.
In the following round the player or team will play against an opponent with the same score as them, this leads to more evenly skilled matches as the bracket progresses.
