Everything your squad does on a Cash Cup Saturday, in order. Check in on Battlefy first, wait for the lobby code, join the lobby in Portal, then move into your team's squad slot.

Format reminder. Round 1: four lobbies of up to 24 teams, 4 games each, top 12 advance. Round 2: two lobbies, 4 games, top 12 advance. Round 3: one lobby, 6 games. Rounds 2 and 3 are seeded off your points, so every game counts.
1. Check in on Battlefy
Opens 30 min before start · closes at start
Go to battlefy.com/battlefield and log in with the Battlefy account you registered with. Set Region to yours if the list shows the wrong one.
Find today's Cash Cup card. The timeline shows where you are: Joined → Eligibility confirmed → Check in → (Waitlist resolution) → Compete. The Check in step counts down until it opens.
When it opens, a red CHECK IN button appears top right of the card and the Check in step shows how long is left. Click it. Any player on the lineup can do it and it checks in the whole team.
On the waitlist? Check in anyway. Waitlist spots are filled at start time from teams who checked in, in waitlist order. Your number is on the card.
Fewer than 4 of your players ready? Sort it before start. Teams need 4 to 6 eligible players.
The step turns green: Checked in. Waitlisted teams then see Waitlist resolution light up with a "Hang tight" note until start time. Nothing to do here but wait.
Get the whole squad into your Discord voice channel and have the game launched and sitting in the main menu before start time.
Check-in closes at start time. A team that has not checked in is not seeded and does not play. There is no late check-in.
2. Open the match panel and wait for the code
Start time → a few minutes
At start time the card flips to Compete now! and a red COMPETE NOW button appears. That opens your match panel, which is where the lobby code will land. Match 1 takes the longest because everything is being set up. Later matches are faster.
Click COMPETE NOW on your card. The match panel opens on the right side of the page (there is also a tab on the right edge of the hub labelled with the match and its state, e.g. MATCH 1 · NOT STARTED).
Before the code is out the panel reads NOT STARTED · Waiting for the admin, with your group and how many teams are in it. Leave it open. It updates by itself the moment the lobby is ready.
When the code is published the panel flips to LOBBY OPEN with a countdown (8 minutes for Match 1, 5 after that). Click Click to reveal to see the code, or COPY LOBBY CODE. Under it: Your slot: TEAM_N. That N is your squad number in the lobby.
Write the code down or keep the tab open on a second screen. You cannot copy and paste inside Battlefield. You will type it by hand.
The HOW TO PLAY box on the panel is the short version of steps 3 and 4 below.
3. Join the lobby in game
Every player, one at a time
Everyone on the team joins individually. Parties are turned off on the Cash Cup experience, so do not try to squad up first.
From the main menu choose PORTAL.
Scroll the Portal Discovery row and open CUSTOM LOBBY JOIN CODE.
Type the 5-character join code from Battlefy and confirm. You load straight into the Team Creation lobby.
JOIN ERROR: No Servers Found means the code is wrong or that server is not up yet. Re-check the code on Battlefy and try again.
4. Move to your team slot
Before the timer hits 0
You arrive in the lobby as Unassigned. Top right reads CURRENT ASSIGNMENT: UNASSIGNED. Your job is to put yourself in the squad number from your match panel: Your slot: TEAM_5 means squad 05.
Click your own name in the Unassigned list, then click your team's squad number on the right. Your name moves into that squad and top right changes to the squad name.
Go by the number shown on Battlefy, not the squad name. Squad names (Leviathan, Crossbones, Gambit...) change as squads empty and refill.
Check the squad shows only your teammates. If a stranger is in your squad, tell an admin in Discord with the squad number and their name.
When the timer on Battlefy hits zero the admin presses START and a 15-second LAUNCHING IN countdown runs in-game.
5. Play, then repeat
4 games (6 in Finals)
Play the game out. Scoring is 1 point per kill plus placement points. Results will appear on Battlefy where you received the join code. Save a screenshot of your score results at the end of each match in case of a dispute; we can only confirm results we have proof of!
After the game the admin closes the server. You will see GAME ENDED and get kicked to the menu. This is normal. Do not try to rejoin with that code.
Go back to your match panel on Battlefy. Results for the game post there, then the new join code for the next match appears with a timer. Repeat from step 3: Portal → Custom Lobby Join Code → new code → join your squad number.
After the last game of the round, the card shows whether you advanced. Top 12 in the lobby move on. Rounds 2 and 3 work exactly the same way with new codes.
Problems and fixes

CHECK IN button is not there | It only appears 30 minutes before start. Refresh the page. Still missing at start − 20 min? Ask in Discord support with your team name. |
COMPETE NOW is not showing | Waitlist resolution is still running, or your team did not make it off the waitlist. Wait for the Compete countdown to hit zero, then refresh. Ask in Discord if the card still shows nothing. |
No Servers Found when joining | Wrong code or server not up yet. Re-read the code on Battlefy, wait 30 seconds, retry. Still failing: contact an admin on Discord. |
Disconnected mid-game | Relaunch, Portal → Custom Lobby Join Code → same code. You rejoin the running match. |
Got kicked from the lobby | You were in the wrong lobby or wrong squad, or unregistered. Check Battlefy for your code and squad number, then rejoin. Ask in Discord if it happens twice. |
